    Aryan Love

    Post by Queenofinsanity6 on 22/03/10, 05:29 pm

War made sure to show up at the Fraulein's apartments looking his best. His hair was clean and slicked back, he wore a fresh, pressed uniform, and even his boots were shiny and pristine. He held a bouquet of white roses, and wore a vaguely superior smile on his face.
Thusly preened and equipped, he knocked upon the Fraulein's door at promptly 8 o'clock.

The Fraulein artfully arranged a few stray curls around her face, reapplied her lipstick, and walked towards the door. Smiling charmingly, she answered the door in a knee-length sun dress and heels. Delicious smells of cooking filled the house, and candles were lit on every shelf and table. "Hello, War. Please, come inside."

War smiled widely at the Fraulein as she opened the door. She looked amazing, and whatever she was cooking smelled heavenly.
"Wow." He said, following her in, "You look absolutely radiant." He handed her the flowers a little bashfully. "These are for you, although looking at you, they don't hold a candle to your own beauty."
He looked around her house, noting all the candles. "So what is that absolutely amazing smell, lovely?"

The Fraulein blushed rosily, and leaned in to give him a kiss on the cheek as she took the flowers. "I wanted something cosy tonight, so I made spaghetti and meatballs, a recipe I learned in Italy from the most darling little cook. We also have fresh garlic bread, salad, and a nice wine. Here, let me take your coat." She held out her hands, and slid them behind his neck.

War smiled and kissed her cheek as he gave her his coat. It never ceased to amaze him that such an outspoken and forceful woman had such a soft womanly side. She was, more or less, his perfect woman, and she seemed to be growing quite fond of him.
"So you are cultured, as well as intelligent and beautiful. I must say, you never cease to impress." He wasn't normally a man of many words outside of business, and maintaining small talk during a date was proving a bit of a challenge to him. Compliments seemed to be a safe ground, and so he wholeheartedly took refuge in them. "I'm sure it will be delicious, Fraulein."

She let out a small laugh and sauntered away, revealing the dark line up the back of her calves from her hose. "If you butter up the bread half as well as you do me, I'm sure that it will." She paused in the doorway between the living room and the kitchen, one hand resting against the frame, and looked coyly over her shoulder. "And you may call me Edith, by the way."

War couldn't quite help blushing a touch, and his jaw dropped at the revelation of her real name. "Oh-alright, Edith. I... My real name is Warwick, so it hardly matters one way or another."
He followed her into the kitchen as he spoke, and his stomach grumbled a touch on seeing all the delicious food.

Edith gave a private little smile at his obvious appreciation of her culinary skills, and picked up the chilled bottle of wine with its accompanying ice bucket as she escorted him to the dining room. "I hope you're as hungry as you sound, Warwick. It's almost impossible for me to cook just enough for two, I always end up making enough to feed an army." She offered him the wine bottle. "Would you like to do the honors?"

[OOC: Duh, grownups totally use dining rooms to eat in. I are slow.]

Warwick grinned. "Thats's good, because I eat for three or four people when I'm this hungry."
He took the bottle with a nod. "Do you have a corkscrew?"

((OOC: You have no idea how tempting it is to have it in her cleavage or something right now))

Edith handed Warwick the corkscrew, and swirled her wine around in the glass after it was poured. Inhaling deeply, she sat it down beside her plate and handed him the bowl of pasta. "So tell me, Warwick. What is your family like?"

Warwick smiled as he opened the bottle and poured them both a glass, sitting down happily to eat his pasta just a touch faster than was strictly polite.
He paused at her question, swallowing his mouthful of pasta before answering. "Oh, fairly normal, I'd say." He responded thoughtfully. "They moved here from Finland when they married, they have a farm in Kansas. We're not in touch very often anymore, in this business, it's better not to have too many ties to those who can't defend themselves."
He shrugged and took another bite of pasta. "What about you, Edith?"

The Fraulein grimaced slightly and looked away. "I did walk right into that one, didn't I? Well, as you might have guessed, I was genetically engineered, and raised by soldiers of the Reich. There were a few females, wives of the SS mostly, who taught me things a woman needs to know, such as how to cook," she smiled and gestured to the dinner table, "and of course being the Uberfrau, I was taught to fight. The tinkering I picked up later, but it is one of my joys."

Warwick smiled. "Wow, you really are the perfect woman then. They made you custom for it."
He ate eagerly as she spoke, heartily enjoying the pasta after a hard day's work. "You're really something, Edith. So what kind of tinkering do you do, exactly?"

She blushed prettily at his compliments, and slowly slid one of her feet closer to his beneath the table. "Oh, you know, this and that. Automatons, weaponry, lasers. I do enjoy a well-built death machine. And of course, my little clanks." As she gushed over her mechanical hobby, her toes inched closer and closer, finally brushing lightly against War's boots.

Warwick nodded appreciatively as he ate, admiring her intelligence. He was very appreciative of her abilities, and he was amazed that she had such capacity for destruction and yet still such natural feminine talent.
He smiled at the touch of her foot, and he reached cautiously for her hand. "That is quite amazing, Edith. There is nothing quite like a well built robot."

Edith accepted his hand, and sipped at her wine. "Thank you, Warwick, that means a lot to me. There is something very... satisfying about constructing machines. When all the pieces fit together juuuuuuust right." she looked at him through lowered lids. "Perhaps, some time, I might show you my laboratory?"

Warwick smiled back at her flirtatiously. "I would be honored to see your lab, Edith." He told her sincerely. "I'm sure it is quite impressive."

The Fraulein smiled charmingly, and continued to make small talk with War for the rest of the meal. As they finished the last of the spaghetti, the wine bottle getting low, Edith glanced out the window into the night. "It's a lovely evening, Warwick. Would you like to see my garden?"

War thoroughly enjoyed himself as the evening progressed. The spaghetti and wine went quickly for him, and he continued to compliment her cooking prowess.
He smiled at her invitation. "I would love to."
